DESCRIPTION:Event: Community Resolution of Complex Social Challenges\, Mental Health in Chile \nOn Tuesday\, October 10\, 2023\, from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm\, an event titled “Community Resolution of Complex Social Challenges: Mental Health in Chile” will take place at the Thompson Room\, Mahindra Humanities Center\, located at 11 Prescott Street\, Warren House 111. For those interested in attending in person\, registration for this event can be completed by clicking here.  \n  \nThe event is part of the Worldwide Week at Harvard. Representatives from Harvard’s Chile Regional Office and the David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies\, as part of the Mahindra series Pedagogies for Life\, will be discussing collaborative systems for addressing complex social challenges. \n  \nThe Worldwide Week at Harvard will take place from October 9 to 13\, 2023. This event serves as a platform to showcase the extensive global engagement of Harvard University.  \n  \nThe Mental Health Coalition (Coalición de Alto Impacto) unites diverse institutions with a shared goal: crafting sustainable\, innovative solutions for mental health in Maipú and Peñalolén\, with a focus on women and children. During this session\, they will be sharing insights and challenges related to the prevention of mental health issues in Chile. \n  \nTo address this complex challenge\, collaboration is essential. It involves actors across society\, academia\, government\, business\, NGOs\, and various professions. They work together\, guided by trust\, knowledge\, grassroots experience\, and a commitment to proactive solutions. \n  \nThe Coalition’s impactful work deepens their understanding of prevention and drives innovation for multifaceted mental health challenges. \n  \nThroughout Worldwide Week\, Harvard Schools\, research centers\, departments\, and student organizations will host academic and cultural events with global or international themes. \n  \nSpeakers: Claudia Bobadilla\, Board Business Member\, Founder Puente Social and Senior Fellow\, Harvard ALI; Fawwaz Habbal\, Former Executive Dean for Education and Research\, Harvard John A.
