Cases for Culture Conference 

The Cases for Culture Conference, hosted by DRCLAS, will be held on December 2-3, 2022. Rainer Kern, founder and director of the biggest international  jazz festival in Germany “Enjoy Jazz – International Festival for Jazz and More”, will be present among the speakers. He is also a special Advisor of Global affairs for Mannheim’s mayor’s office and responsible for the setup and strategic development of the new worldwide network/platform “Global Parliament of Mayors”. Click here to know more about our partnership with Mannheim Public Library.

During the seminar De-stigmatize, De-colonize: Mental Health Through Local Arts in Nairobi’s Slum for Harvard MBB, Tom Osborn presented the preliminary results of the impact of Pre-Texts in reducing symptoms of depression and anxiety among the youth population. Harvard professor conducts workshop for Pune city teachers

As part of our collaboration with FLAME University, during the month of February 2022, Pre-Texts sessions were held in six schools in Pune.

Pre-Texts in Sergipe, Brazil

Matheus Batalha, our Brazilian agent, participated in the 2022 Planning week in Ivo Prado State school to encourage the teachers to use the Pre-Texts tools in their regular classes. He also facilitated a mini Pre-Texts workshop using a Carlos Drummont de Andrade text. This meeting is part of our project that aims to mitigate violence in the school context in Aracaju’s schools. Click here to enjoy more about the project.

Pre-Texts in Comedor Siempre Carrillo 2022

For the fourth consecutive year, Pre-Texts workshops begin at Comedor Siempre Carrillo. Our expert facilitators, Aldana and Joana Bucca, restart the face-to-face activities for girls, boys and families of the Carrillo neighborhood in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
