Hip-Hop Agora: Art, Space, and Youth Expression

Cultural Agents

Hip-Hop Agora, founded by Boston-based artist Marlon Forrester, is an interdisciplinary program that connects hip-hop culture with art and architecture for high school students. Its curriculum explores sound, movement, text, and spatial design, offering tools that empower personal expression through image, music, and creative inquiry. Through DXLabsand RXLabs, participants study public and private space while engaging in drawing, painting, sculpture, performance, and architectural thinking. The program builds an inspiring learning environment where young creators strengthen their voices, refine their narratives, and develop leadership grounded in artistic vision and spatial awareness.
