Throughout August, Bogotá’s Secretaría de Integración Social and Idartes offer over 30 free cultural activities for children, older adults, and people with disabilities — across theaters, cinemas, galleries, and community spaces citywide.
The program includes the XXI Festival de Teatro y Circo, Festival Orígenes, accessible film screenings with sign language and audio description, multisensory exhibitions, literary encounters, and artistic workshops for early childhood — reaching neighborhoods from Usaquén to Santa Fe.
Art, here, is not entertainment. It is a tool for inclusion, recognition, and a more diverse Bogotá.
