On September 4, 2026, Hortencia Chávez Reyna will present the workshop “Pre-textos, para el desarrollo del pensamiento crítico en la Nueva Escuela Mexicana” at the XLIII Feria Internacional del Libro del Instituto Politécnico Nacional. The session, part of Section 9’s contribution to the SNTE’s Ágora program, runs from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the fairgrounds in Mexico City. The workshop places Pre-Texts within a national conversation on critical thought in public education, alongside teachers and delegates from across the country.
