In August 2025, teacher Iván López led a Pre-Texts workshop with students at a public school in Mexico City, part of the Lazos con el Texto network. Using Julio Torri’s “El Axolote” as the source text, the session formed part of López’s certification process as a Pre-Texts facilitator. The workshop showed how reading and artistic creation can transform a public-school classroom into a space for critical thought and collective expression.
