A school takes shape long before its walls go up — in the voices of those who know the river, in the paths children walk, in the shade of trees, and in the questions a community asks about its future.
Cultural Agents brought Pre-Texts to that conversation: reading aloud, questioning, creating art, and building knowledge together. Each gesture raises a spatial question: Where can a child read while her hands create? What space welcomes a dialogue between students and community elders? How does a school open to the forest without losing shelter?

Architect Victoria Mena introduced the concept of habitanía — the moment when citizenship becomes territory, and learning reaches the relationships between people, memory, practice, and the living world they share.
Pedagogy and architecture, now at work together.
