Cultural Agents, Inc. collaborated with City of Bogotá to host At Agentes Culturales Inc., we are thrilled to celebrate the opportunity to have implemented the Pre-Texts protocol during the workshop “Formar en cultura, servir con confianza”, held on June 26 at the Aulas Barulé of the Mayor’s Office of Bogotá. This experience reaffirmed the transformative power of art and literature as drivers of trust, collaboration, and critical thinking in public service.
The workshop inspired the City Government to plan adoption of the Certificate “Arts and Public Policy,” to continue building bridges between Cultural Agents and public institutions such as the Mayor’s Office of Bogotá, with the commitment to expand the impact of participatory arts as resources. Pre-Texts and other arts-based interventions will reach more civil servants and institutions. Through creativity, art, and culture, we seek to strengthen human talent, enrich institutional life, and contribute to a vibrant civic culture. With the legacy of Civic Culture, Cultura ciudadana, initiated by Mayor Antanas Mockus, Bogotá is the ideal site for reviving the contributions of art to peace and to personal growth.
