In March 2026, Pre-Texts made its first visit to Universidad de Playa Ancha (UPLA), when facilitator Paulina Núñez led an introductory workshop for the Pedagogía en Castellano faculty. The success of that session sparked a full project: “Páginas Abiertas: Leer creando, crear leyendo” — part of UPLA’s community-engagement initiative within CREALAB.
On August 6, certified facilitator Nicole Schnitzler led a reinforcement workshop, choosing a passage from Carlo Rovelli’s The Order of Time — the same text that appeared on Chile’s national university entrance exam. Three teacher candidates, Macarena Pizarro, Amanda Guzmán, and Alicia Moscoso, led much of the session.
They now carry Pre-Texts into their own 10th-grade classrooms at Colegio María Auxiliadora — and toward certification as facilitators.
