On Saturday, April 1, we hosted our bimonthly meeting with Coordinators and Wevers of Pre-Texts around the world. Recent reflections highlight how Pre-Texts is impacting diverse educational and social contexts. David Chen shared progress in Macao, with teachers noticing changes in students. Cristina Valdés and Paulina Núñez are applying the method in language and psychology classes, while a doctoral project in San Fernando, Chile, documents results with support from Simone Di Plinio. Simone also explores mental health improvements in Italy and Mexico. Olatz noted reduced classroom isolation after using Pre-Texts. Gessiani in Brazil uses the method to recover silenced stories through theater. Devyani applies Pre-Texts in vocational training with youth in India. In Mexico, Elda is launching a pilot with 25 teachers to foster critical thinking. Victoria Mena reported strong outcomes in Tumaco and Antioquia with the Ministry of Justice. The network continues to grow through new facilitators, mini-workshops, and international collaboration.
