On March 3rd, faculty and administrators at the Universidad de los Andes, Bogota’, participated in the Pre-Texts workshop led by Victoria Mena, Cultural Agents Administrator. In just 15 hours, facilitators can learn how to integrate the arts and humanities into engaging and rigorous education. This approach, inspired by thinkers like Dewey, Vasconcelos, Boal, and Montessori, transforms challenges into creative opportunities, activating cognitive, emotional, and civic faculties through a single prompt: “make art from this text.”
