Projeto Despertar: Development of Socioemotional Skills and Entrepreneurial Education Methodologies for Socioeducational Adolescents ‘ aims to implement innovative methodologies for personalized learning, the development of socio-emotional skills, and entrepreneurial education within the socio-educational system of the Federal District and Goiás, Brazil.

The project incorporates the Pre-Texts methodology in the development of pilot workshops, fostering personalized learning and cultivating socio-emotional and entrepreneurial skills. It aims to guide participants in crafting life projects and business plans through innovative methods.

The general coordinator of the project of the Universidade Federal de Goiás, Marilúcia Lago explained: “The project brings the possibility of implementing personalized methodologies, creative methodologies, socio-emotional development, strengthening of the family bond, and also of entrepreneurial education, since in the socio-educational field one of the pillars is the professional qualification”.

The target population for the proposal encompasses the entire network that integrates socio-educational policies, including: adolescents in compliance with socio-educational measures of semi-liberty and deprivation of liberty and their families, managers and professionals working in CASES, as well as managers of complementary public services. 

The goal is to improve students’ opportunities for social, family, and professional reintegration through activities that develop their overall well-being.

Projeto Despertar is an initiative carried out by the Centro Integrado de Aprendizagem in the Rede da Universidade Federal de Goiás in collaboration with the IECAP Institute and the  Instituto de Cooperação para Estudos da Ciência, Tecnologia e Inovação; with the support of the Ministério da Educação through the Fundo Nacional de Desenvolvimento da Educação.
