Secondary and Higher Education Collaborate in Chile

Pre-Texts

A collaborative project between San Fernando College and Universidad Mayor in Chile is using the Pre-Texts methodology to enhance education. Over the past eight months, teachers at the school have implemented the methodology, while seven students of education from the University are conducting research on its impact on reading comprehension, anxiety, and depression among students. This August, the university students participated in classes to observe the method firsthand. By the end of the calendar year, they will present their findings, and the teachers will complete the certification process as Pre-Texts facilitators.
