The Afro-Latin American Research Institute (ALARI) and the David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies, both at Harvard University, in collaboration with USP-PRIP and the University Consortium for Afro-Latino Studies (UCALAS), are organizing the Third Continental Meeting on Afro-Latin American Studies at the University of São Paulo from July 10-12, 2024. This will be the first time that the continental conference will be held in South America. Both the Meeting and the Consortium are generously supported by the Ford Foundation.
Cultural Agents Panel, “Pre-Texts: The Arts Teach (Everything)”, will be held on July 10 with the participation of Doris Sommer, Harvard University , Dra.
