On January 6, 2026, the Universidad de Playa Ancha, Chile, hosted an in-person Pre-Texts workshop through its Master’s Program in Linguistics and the Department of Literature and Linguistics. The session gathered faculty and graduate students interested in pedagogical practices that locate reading, art, and critical thinking within a democratic framework.
Facilitators Paulina Núñez Lagos and Francisca Poblete, certified Pre-Texts trainers from Universidad Mayor, led the activities and continue to advance the methodology through collaborative partnerships across Chilean universities.
