
ACT Associate Professor Gediminas Urbonas joined an MIT delegation led by Vice Provost Duane Boning in Lithuania for the conference Human and More-Than-Human Futures: Innovating Technologies for Coexistence. The event gathered over 500 participants to strengthen collaborations between MIT and Lithuanian universities, research centers, and industry partners. Urbonas presented Wetland.games, a role-playing project developed with European scientists and designers that fosters multi-species perspectives in environmental planning. The conference highlighted new approaches linking technology, ecology, and human values to envision futures of coexistence and shared wellbeing.
