A group of fellows (7) from different hubs of Ife Institute of Advanced Studies participated in the Pre-Texts five training sessions conducted by Prof. Doris Sommer from June 29 to July 13, 2026. It was an opportunity to participate in the Pre-Texts because it was an enriching and transformative experience. The five training sessions provided an opportunity to learn directly from other participating facilitators and to connect with wonderful participants from across Latin America and other parts of the world. Beyond the training itself, the experience expanded a network of friendship and collaboration among facilitators who share a commitment to using Pre-Texts as a tool for learning, critical thinking, dialogue, and social transformation.
This experience became particularly meaningful during the 10th Annual Ife Summer Institute in Ile-Ife when the 7 facilitators conducted a Pre-Texts session on the 28th July 2026, where the principles of Pre-Texts were put into practice through a collaborative facilitation session. Read More
