On August 25, Antonio Copete, Vice President of the EAFIT in Medellin and President of the Harvard-MIT club of Colombia [far right] and Doris Sommer visited Josefina Klinger, founder of the NGO “Mano Cambiada,”and geologist Vladimir Mosquera in Nuquí.
The new airport supports Nuquí as a mecca for tourists who come to see the migration of whales and tortoises that travel to the warm and calm waters of Colombia’s Afro-Pacific coast. Nuquí will be the focal point of pilgrimages in the program “Caminos por Colombia.”
