From May 11 to 17, 2026, Chile celebrated the 14th edition of its Week of Artistic Education under the theme “Paisajes Afectivos” — dedicated to the memory of artist and cultural manager Claudio Di Girolamo (1929–2025).
Organized by UNESCO and Chile’s Ministry of Cultures, the week included the III International Encounter of Education, Art, and Culture “Hilando Saberes” at the Centro Cultural Gabriela Mistral (GAM) — a space where artistic education, memory, and collective knowledge converged.
A tribute to a life devoted to culture, and a renewed commitment to art as a public good.
